Yeh aaeney se akeley mein guftugu kia hai
Jo mein nahi to phir terey ru ba ru kia hai

Isi ummeed pe kaati hai zindagi mein ne
WO kaash poochte mujh se ke aarzo kia hai

Yeh rang-e-gul, yeh shafaq aur yeh taabishein anjum
Tera jamal nahi hai to chaar su kia hai

Kioon un ke saamne tum dil ki baat karte ho
Jo khud samajhte nahi dil ki aabru kia hai..!
